The following outlines our policies as they relate to the services we provide:
- Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 9am to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 12 Noon. In certain situations we will provide service outside of our normal business hours, however our rates will be increased based on the service provided. Pet feeding/walking/sitting services that require more than one stop during the day will be scheduled and billed according to our Pet Service policy.
- We charge a minimum of one (1) hour for all services with additional time being billed in 15 minutes increments. The first hour of service begins at the time of departure from our current location to the errand destination.
- Same day service is available depending our our schedule for that day. We will try to provide this service at no additional charge, however, depending on the timeframe in which we are contracted, we may require a $15.00 fee to accommodate our staff.
- At this time, we only cover a 25 miles radius of Cleveland. Therefore, we will be unable to provide service outside of this area. As our service area grows, we will make the appropriate changes to our coverage area.
- The costs of goods purchased are not included in our rates. Therefore, we will estimate the amount needed for purchases made on the clients behalf and payment in advance will be required prior to commencing the scheduled service.
- We do not provide transportation services for our clients. Due to insurance and liability issues, we are unable to provide this service to you at this time. We will, however, arrange transportation services for our clients and where assistance and/or companionship is necessary, our staff will follow the client and transportation service to the designated location.
- We require a 24 hour cancellation notice on scheduled services. We charge a $15.00 fee on all booked services which are not cancelled within the 24-hour time frame.
- Our pet care and transportation services are for non-aggressive, domestic household pets (dogs, cats, fish, birds). We have the right to refuse service for aggressive animals. Pet owners should leave a leash, food, crates, etc. in a designated area to eliminate the need for our staff look for these items.
- We are not licensed medical professionals. Parent Check staff members are non-clinical professionals and therefore do not provide any hands-on medical treatment and/or therapy to our clients. We will, on request, provide names, address and phone numbers of reputable home health agencies who can provide medical assistance.
